Cashless Payment Model
Main Line Health will fully transition to a cashless and checkless payment model across all point-of-service locations throughout the System on October 5, 2026. This transition includes clinical and registration areas, as well as cafeterias, gift shops and other on-site payment locations.
The change reflects how patients, visitors and colleagues increasingly prefer to pay for goods and services, with most transactions already occurring through credit card or electronic payment methods. This transition is intended to modernize and simplify the payment experience while creating greater consistency across locations and services.
For those who may need to convert cash into a digital form of payment, cash-to-card kiosks, also referred to as reverse ATMs, will be installed at Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital.
