Health Screenings
We offer a variety of free health screenings to help our communities support their overall health, including:
Cancer screenings
Cancer screenings can help to detect cancers in their earlier stages, when they're easier to treat. We offer a variety of cancer screenings to help you detect cancer as soon as possible.
Lung cancer screenings
Lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of men and women in the United States, responsible for 160,000 deaths each year. But getting a lung cancer screening can help you treat it as early as possible.
Skin cancer screenings
Skin cancer can be treated with more success if it’s found early. The way to find skin cancer early is with regular skin exams.
Driving rehab at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital
Independence is a major goal of every rehabilitation program. For over 30 years, the driver rehabilitation program at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital has offered a unique way for patients to return to this crucial aspect of their lives.
Blood pressure screenings
We offer free, monthly blood pressure screenings to help you take charge of your blood pressure to maintain a healthy life.
Corner stores
In partnership with The Food Trust, our Heart Smart Corner Store initiative aims to convert the corner store into a healthy community asset by offering health screenings, education about healthy eating and medical referrals for at-risk adults right at the corner store, close to home. Highlights of the program include:
- In-store and community-based education on healthy eating and heart disease prevention, including taste tests
- Free blood pressure screenings conducted on a monthly basis by health professionals
- Referrals and follow-up for all participants with high blood pressure
- Referrals to the smoking quit line and health insurance exchange
