Yonathan Kebede, FACHE

Yonathan Kebede currently serves as the interim president of Paoli Hospital. He joined Main Line Health in June of 2021 as the Vice President of Operations at Lankenau Medical Center, bringing with him over 15 years as a healthcare leader with a profound commitment to improving health outcomes and community welfare.
As the Vice President of Operations at Lankenau, Yonathan oversaw the growth and operational performance of several departments at Lankenau and worked with leadership to identify and set strategic goals and implementation. He successfully led the system-wide infusion realignment strategy, expanding Lankenau's 340B status and incorporating three additional "child sites," while consolidating some infusion centers. Yonathan has managed several key initiatives that have supported the strategic growth of Lankenau and Main Line Health including the development of the Gastroenterology Service Line that incorporated the first employed group for general GI practice.
With previous leadership roles at Premier Health in Dayton, Ohio, Yonathan has a proven track record of driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives across healthcare facilities. Yonathan is recognized for his expertise in driving process improvement initiatives that have generated substantial cost savings and operational efficiencies across diverse healthcare settings. Additionally, Yonathan's dedication to community leadership is evident through his involvement in local and state initiatives, focusing on healthcare, education, immigration, and community development.
Yonathan Kebede holds a master’s degree in Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences Management from The Ohio State University. He maintains active memberships in the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association for Health Services Executives and has held leadership roles within both organizations.
