GI Hospitalist Physician Employment Opportunities
Main Line Health is seeking highly motivated and skilled Gastroenterologists to join our dynamic team as a GI Hospitalist. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient care at a leading suburban Philadelphia hospital known for its commitment to excellence in patient care, innovative treatments, and a supportive work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care for patients with gastrointestinal (GI) conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Perform GI procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy, as required for inpatient care
- Work closely with the hospital’s emergency department and other inpatient services to manage acute GI conditions
- Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the hospital’s mission of providing high-quality care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with hospital policies
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Valid medical license to practice in Pennsylvania
- Strong clinical skills with expertise in managing a wide range of GI conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
