Healthy Eating After Cancer
Main Line Health Cancer Care offers survivorship educational seminars to support Thriving During and After Cancer Treatment.
Nutrition plays an important role in your health and well-being. For example, nutrient-dense foods provide vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants which help decrease risk of chronic disease. Side effects from cancer and treatment, such as weight changes or nausea, can affect your relationship with certain foods and make it challenging to get the right nutrients. After cancer treatment has completed, re-establishing a well-balanced healthy diet can help you regain strength, energy and support your overall health. What are healthy food choices?
Join us to:
- Discover how nutrition can impact our bodies and ways to incorporate healthy foods into your diet after cancer treatment.
- Debunk common nutrition myths and get answers to your questions from experts.
- Enjoy a cooking demonstration to learn how to cook simple, healthy recipes.
- Participants will get to taste all prepared food and leave with recipes!

- Carolyn Farhy MS, RDN, LDN, medical nutrition therapist, Main Line Health
