Julia Mayberry, MD
Dr. Julia Mayberry is a board certified general surgeon with subspecialty training in hand and microvascular surgery. After obtaining her combined MD, BS degree with distinction as a part of a 6 year program at National Medical University, Kiev Ukraine she went on to complete a general surgery residency at Lankenau Medical Center, Wynnewood, PA. Dr. Mayberry completed advanced training at The Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microvascular Surgery, Louisville, KY. This institution is known worldwide for its cutting edge and innovative approach including performing the first successful hand transplant in 1999. Dr. Mayberry's interests lie in minimally invasive treatments of hand, wrist, forearm and elbow conditions. Those include arthroscopic and endoscopic techniques, enzymatic treatments of Dupuytren's disease and microvascular surgery which expedite recovery and minimize down time. Dr. Mayberry is a member of multiple professional societies including American Society for Surgery of the Hand and American Association for Hand Surgery. She was involved in multiple research projects and is a recipient of a research grant for upper extremity lymphedema. Dr. Mayberry continues the tradition of excellence and shares her personable approach, compassion and care with her patients.
