Amy Benner, PharmD, BCPS
Amy Benner, PharmD, BCPS is a graduate of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and completed her PGY1 residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Benner started her career as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. She has over 20 years of clinical and operational pharmacy management experience leading both ambulatory and acute care pharmacy teams within the Department of Defense and not-for-profit health systems. Currently the Pharmacy Director, Dr. Benner is the preceptor for the pharmacy management rotation. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, reading, traveling, and spending time with her dog and two children.
Angela Nam, PharmD
Angela Nam, PharmD, is a graduate of the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University. Angela went on to train and practice pharmacy as a clinical pharmacist, while precepting students, at Sentara Healthcare in Virginia Beach, VA. Angela has worked at Lankenau Medical Center as a clinical staff pharmacist since 2016. She and her colleague Kelsey Daley started the Transitions of Care CHF Program in 2019, which later expanded to COPD and all Main Line Health acute care sites. Her areas of service include cardiology and internal medicine on the heart failure unit. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to Disney, and exercising at Burn Boot Camp. She resides in the suburbs of Jersey with her husband and 2 sons.
Anthony Trona, PharmD, BCPS
Anthony Trona, PharmD, BCPS is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He completed his PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Anthony serves as a co-preceptor for hospital pharmacy practice longitudinal experience and advanced hospital pharmacy elective experience. Outside of pharmacy, Anthony enjoys spending time with family/friends, exercising, and watching Pittsburgh sports teams.
April McDermott, PharmD
April McDermott, PharmD is a graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy. She has over 18 years of experience in hospital pharmacy, with majority of her career at Lankenau Medical Center. April’s current role is Medication Safety and Regulatory Compliance for Main Line Health. As part of the residency program, April precepts the longitudinal medication safety rotation. In her free time, April enjoys spending time with her family and taking walks with her dogs.
Dawn Saro, PharmD
Dawn Saro, PharmD, is a graduate of Wilkes University School of Pharmacy. Dr. Saro has over 20 years of experience in many aspects of Pharmacy practice including pediatrics, home infusion, project management and holds a Green Belt Certification in Lean principles. In her current role as Pharmacy Manager, Dawn operationalizes various aspects of Pharmacy from supervising personnel, sterile compounding practices, inventory management, pharmacy technology, process improvement, and project management. She enjoys seeing the development of individuals as well as process improvements, both small and large.
Donna Stecher, PharmD, BCCCP
Donna Stecher, PharmD, BCCCP is a graduate of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and completed an ASHP accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Donna started her career at Main Line Health in 2007 as the clinical pharmacist at Lankenau Medical Center. Donna is the residency preceptor for the critical care experience. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, dog, cooking, and traveling.
Drew Cobert, PharmD
Drew Cobert, PharmD is a Penn State alumnus and graduate of the LECOM School of Pharmacy. He completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at LECOM Health Millcreek Community Hospital. Drew currently serves as a preceptor for the unit-based pharmacy rotation. Outside of work, Drew is a freelance photographer and videographer. He also enjoys playing guitar, exercising, and everything Nintendo. Drew currently resides in Wynnewood with his wife and two cats.
Ethan Englert, PharmD, BCPS
Ethan Englert, PharmD, BCPS is a graduate of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Dr. Englert completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Paoli Hospital in Pennsylvania. His residency research focused on enhancing antimicrobial stewardship programs through pharmacist-driven penicillin skin testing at the bedside. Staying within MLHS, Dr. Englert worked briefly as an emergency department pharmacist at Paoli Hospital until transferring into a staff pharmacist role at Lankenau Medical Center. As part of the residency program, Dr. Englert serves as a preceptor for the internal medicine rotation. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family/friends, exercising, and following various contemporary television series.
Heather Troup, PharmD
Heather Troup, PharmD is a graduate of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and completed an ASHP accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Dr. Troup started her career completing chart reviews as part of the admissions team at Einstein's long-term care facility. In late 2011, she joined the Main Line Health family and became Paoli Hospital's first emergency department (ED) pharmacist. After spending four years growing the ED pharmacy program at Paoli Hospital, she decided to embark on a new career adventure and became an inpatient application analyst working to build the Epic platform for Main Line Health. As part of the residency program, she precepts the elective pharmacy informatics rotation. Aside from work, Heather enjoys being active, running, cooking, baking, traveling, scrapbooking, and spoiling her two dogs.
Jessica Gallagher, PharmD, BCPS
Jessica Gallagher, PharmD, BCPS graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and then attended pharmacy school at Temple University School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and a PGY2 in Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy at Temple University Health System. In 2016, Jessica joined the Main Line Health family as Lankenau Medical Center’s Clinical Pharmacist in Infectious Diseases, with a major focus on Antimicrobial Stewardship. As part of the residency program, Jessica co-precepts the ID/Antimicrobial stewardship rotation. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, and cooking.
Jobin Johnson, PharmD
Jobin Johnson, PharmD is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. He completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia in 2018. He was hired as the first emergency medicine pharmacist at Lankenau Medical Center. He is an active member of the Lankenau Medical Center Sepsis, Stroke, and Trauma Committees. Jobin is the primary preceptor for the emergency medicine rotation. Aside from the fun stories of chaos in the emergency room, he loves to talk finance, home improvement, and cooking.
Julianne Care, PharmD
Julianne Care, PharmD is a graduate of West Virginia University where she received her B.S. degree in Biology, followed by graduating from Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy where she received her PharmD degree. She then completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City followed by a PGY2 in Infectious Diseases Pharmacy at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently a Clinical Pharmacist in Infectious Diseases at Lankenau Medical Center. Julianne is a co-leader of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee and co-preceptor of the ID/Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacy rotation. In her free time, Julianne enjoys spending time with friends and family, practicing yoga, going to the beach, and cooking.
Julie Chan, PharmD, BCPS
Julie Chan, PharmD, BCPS, is a graduate of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Paoli Hospital in 2013 as part of the inaugural residency class. Julie continued her career at Main Line Health as a clinical staff pharmacist at both Paoli Hospital and Lankenau Medical Center. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy and is currently the inpatient pharmacy coordinator at Lankenau Medical Center. Julie is the preceptor for the longitudinal anticoagulation clinic and co-preceptor for the hospital pharmacy practice rotation. When not at work, Julie is an avid world traveler, Eagles fan, and food enthusiast. She currently resides in Philadelphia with her husband, daughter, son, and dog.
Julie Gwin, PharmD
Julie Gwin, PharmD is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. Dr. Gwin completed a Pediatric Residency at St. Paul Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Julie has worked at Main Line Health for 31 years, starting as the Neonatal/Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist at Bryn Mawr Hospital and then the Clinical Coordinator at Paoli Hospital and now the Clinical Coordinator at Lankenau Medical Center (LMC). In addition, she has also been the Clinical Research Pharmacist for LMC for 9 years. Julie has been involved in many facets of Pharmacy Practice within the hospital setting during her career and enjoys clinical research, medication use evaluations and cost savings analysis. Julie precepts the formulary management rotation and assists in the research aspects of the residency. When not at work, Julie is a purebred dog enthusiast, breeding, training, and showing her Pharaoh Hounds.
Kelsey Daley, PharmD, BCPS
Kelsey Daley, PharmD, BCPS is a graduate of the Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy and completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia. Kelsey began working as a clinical staff pharmacist at Lankenau Medical Center in 2017, and she accepted a new position as a Transition of Care clinical pharmacist in 2019. Kelsey and her colleague, Angela, took on the challenge of starting the Transitions of Care program at Lankenau Medical Center, which has now been implemented at all hospitals within the Main Line Health System. She is the residency co-preceptor for the required transitions of care rotation, which focuses on heart failure and internal medicine. Outside of pharmacy, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and is a peloton enthusiast. She resides in Philadelphia suburbs with her husband, daughter, and cat.
Leanna Usnik, PharmD, BCPS
Leanna Usnik, PharmD, BCPS is a graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy and Pennsylvania State University. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Paoli Hospital of Main Line Health and is currently pursuing her MBA at West Chester University. After residency, Leanna worked a Clinical Pharmacist focused on neonatal, pediatric, and women care at Christiana Care for two years and then went on to work as an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist II at Pennsylvania Hospital. She recently joined Lankenau Medical Center as a Transitions of Care Clinical Pharmacist and is excited to expand the program to include the COPD patient population. In her free time, Leanna enjoys traveling the world, taking Peloton classes, and spoiling her dogs, Taz & Mikey.
Lindsay Murphy Fitzpatrick, PharmD, BCPPS
Lindsay Murphy Fitzpatrick, PharmD, BCPPS is a proud graduate of Saint Joseph’s University where she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services with a minor in Economics. She then received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Jefferson College of Pharmacy before completing a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Following residency, Lindsay worked as a Women’s and Children’s staff pharmacist at Bryn Mawr Hospital before transitioning into her role as the NICU Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for Main Line Health. She is the primary preceptor for the Neonatal Critical Care elective rotation. When not at work, Lindsay enjoys participating in book clubs, cheering on Philadelphia sports teams, and spending time with her family.
Natalie Kong, PharmD, BCPS
Natalie Kong, PharmD, BCPS hails from Long Island, NY and is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs (VA) New York Harbor Healthcare System. Following residency, she continued her career at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital, and then transitioned into a Clinical Coordinator role at Northwell Health South Shore University Hospital, where her focus and passions included anticoagulation safety, patient care in the medical-surgical, MICU, and CTICU, and pharmacy and medical resident development. Natalie is currently the cardiothoracic critical care pharmacy specialist and PGY1 residency program director at Lankenau Medical Center. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family, snowboarding, and surfing Pinterest for her next craft project.
