Home health care services

When you choose Main Line Health HomeCare, you and your family are at the center of the home health care team.

Our specially trained home health team members ensure the highest level of skill and quality when working with you and your doctor in developing your plan of care.

Palliative care at home services

The Palliative Care Program strives to ease serious illness's physical, emotional, spiritual, and social impact on individuals and families through an interdisciplinary approach emphasizing holistic care.

Palliative care offers you and your family additional support unique to your needs throughout a serious, chronic, or advanced illness. Palliative Care clinicians assist in treating complex symptoms, offer extra emotional and psychosocial support, and the opportunity to discuss and establish your treatment goals.

Hospice care

Main Line Health Hospice services are provided to adults with serious or advanced illnesses. In most cases, care is provided in the home. Hospice care can also be provided in a nursing home, assisted living facility or in the hospital setting.

We embrace a holistic approach to care that includes the physical, emotional and spiritual concerns people may experience with advanced illness. Support is provided by an interdisciplinary team of hospice caregivers that provide the most advanced therapies, medications, emotional and spiritual support, personal care and companionship services and palliative care for pain control and management of other symptoms.

In memory of a loved one

A wonderful way to celebrate the life of a loved one is a memorial gift to an organization that supported them as they prepared for the final stage of life's journey. We offer this opportunity for you to recognize your loved one and make a tribute gift to benefit the Hospice Program of HomeCare & Hospice. Your family and friends may also want to remember your loved one. Often families request donations to our organization in lieu of flower memorials. We are happy to assist you with this. Please contact our office at 484.337.8187.

In honor of a special care provider

During your care, a staff member may have gone above and beyond their duty to make you feel extra-special. Or, perhaps you or your family were particularly touched by the help offered during a difficult time. You may feel that a simple "thank you" does not fully express your gratitude. We offer you this opportunity to honor those who have meant the most to you during your time of care.

Letting others know

If you have contributed in memory of a loved one, the family will be notified of your donation. The amount of your donation will remain confidential. If you have chosen to honor a staff member, we will notify them of your gift. This special person will also receive recognition for being an outstanding member of the HomeCare & Hospice's team.

Volunteers serve in many ways. Hospice & Palliative Care of Main Line Health HomeCare & Hospice depends on its volunteers. Hospice volunteers act as family members, assisting in various areas of patient and family care.
