Psychological treatment and neuropsychological assessment services for adults and adolescents
Our team of licensed, doctoral-level psychologists and neuropsychologists at Main Line HealthCare Bryn Mawr Rehab Psychology Associates focuses on behavioral medicine and neuropsychological assessment. We provide psychological treatment and assessment services for people with a wide range of neurological, medical and psychological disorders. Our team of specialists includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, case managers, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
The team believes in supporting and empowering patients. Treatment plans are delivered in a safe and caring environment, and provide the coping tools needed to strengthen resolve for a successful outcome.
Behavioral medicine
Our staff members have extensive experience in the treatment of adjustment-related difficulties including anxiety, depression, and stress-related illnesses associated with acute and chronic neurological and medical conditions. Our psychologists use a variety of evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy, biofeedback, pain management, and psychoeducation tailored to the specific goals of each patient.
Neuropsychological evaluation
Our neuropsychologists provide comprehensive and tailored diagnostic testing services for people who have a history of memory loss, brain injury, stroke, seizures, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or developmental issues related to attention or learning concerns. Neuropsychological testing services may be requested to help you and your doctors understand how the different systems of your brain are working in order to help facilitate diagnosis, make decisions related to returning to work, and to accommodate academic needs.
As a department, we also facilitate numerous support groups for concussion, brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, pain, and early onset memory loss.
