Scott Giacomucci, DSW, LCSW, BCD, CGP, FAAETS, TEP
I believe in the goodness within each person and approach my work through a strengths-based lens. As an expert in trauma, I’ve come to realize that many of the mental health, substance use, and social problems we experience are fueled by unresolved trauma, loss, and/or adversity from our pasts. I’m firmly committed to providing ethical and trauma-informed care that recognizes the dignity and worth of each person while empowering clients to be therapeutic agents in their own healing process. My treatment approach is rooted in experiential methods, rather than talk therapies, that involve movement, action, and involve the whole self (mind, body, & spirit) in the treatment process.
