Riddle Hospital presented with $4 million in state funding to address healthcare challenges
Media, PA — In response to increased patient demand across Delaware County, state and local leaders recently presented $4 million in state funding to support care delivery at Riddle Hospital following the closure of Crozer Health.
The check was presented by Pennsylvania Representative Lisa A. Borowski and Senator John Kane, leaders in supporting the essential role of Riddle Hospital in Delaware County, to Ed Jimenez, Main Line Health President and CEO; Jim Paradis, President of Riddle Hospital; and other System leaders. The visit also included a roundtable conversation focused on increased capacity demands, patient access and the broader regional challenges facing hospitals following the closure of Crozer Health.
The funding will support recruitment and retention efforts at Riddle Hospital, with a focus on nurses and technicians, helping the facility respond to increased patient volumes and capacity demands. Main Line Health leaders will continue to evaluate how the funding can be used most effectively to support patient care and our care teams.
