Gender Care Program
Promoting optimal health and well-being for transgender, gender diverse, and nonbinary individuals
Welcome to the Main Line Health Gender Care Program, serving transgender and gender-expansive people and their families near and far.
The Gender Care Program is steadily growing, with roots in the thriving culture of diversity, respect, and inclusion at Main Line Health. Building on this foundation, the program goals and vision for gender care are twofold:
- Ensure transgender and gender-expansive people in the region and beyond have streamlined access to high-quality, evidence-based gender-affirming care as well as all general and specialty health care they may need
- Improve the overall health of transgender and gender-expansive people through ongoing efforts to narrow health care disparities experienced by transgender people, educate the community about transgender health; and stay at the forefront in all aspects of gender-affirming care.
