Alfonso J. Arevalo, DO
Dr. Arevalo is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, with expertise in both nonsurgical and surgical treatment of hip, knee and shoulder conditions. He cares for patients age 14 and older with a wide range of sports-related injuries, offering personalized care tailored to each individual's goals. He performs arthroscopic procedures for labral tears and hip impingement, as well as comprehensive treatment for rotator cuff injuries, ligament tears, meniscus and cartilage damage and shoulder instability. He also manages general fractures and soft tissue injuries with precision and care. Dr. Arevalo has experience working with a wide variety of professional athletes and sports teams. As an ice hockey player, he brings unique insight into hockey-related injuries, including groin strains, meniscal tears and shoulder trauma.
