Harish Jarrett, MD

MAIN LINE HEALTH CLINICIAN
Headshot of Harish Jarrett, MD
Cardiovascular Disease, Heart and Vascular Care

The role of the Lankenau Heart Group physician is one of both educator and healer, with the focus to treat each individual patient to improve longevity and quality of life. Not every patient needs to be treated in the same way, and our physicians take the patient's preference into account when tailoring a personalized course of treatment for them. We believe it is key to listen to our patient and their family members to make sure they have a complete understanding of their cardiac illness as well as their treatment options. For the best possible outcome, it is valuable for both the patient and their family to have a voice in the patient's care and be invested in their treatment plan.

About

Harish Jarrett, MD

I will be your advocate when it comes to your health. I will work to ensure that the correct diagnosis is made, and any treatments offered, or procedures performed conform to the highest standard we set for ourselves at Lankenau Heart Institute. Lastly, I will always ensure that you and your family feel involved in all decision making, treat you with respect and dignity, and communicate with you clearly and promptly.I graduated with First Class Honors from the University of St Andrews in Scotland in 2007, followed by the University of Manchester in England in 2010. I completed my Internship, Residency and Chief Residency at Temple University Hospital and School of Medicine graduating in 2016. I completed my Cardiovascular Fellowship at the MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute and Georgetown University in Washington DC where I served as Chief Cardiology Fellow. This was followed by an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. During this time, I have developed expertise in clinical cardiology as well as the imaging fields of echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. My training has allowed me to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of most all cardiovascular conditions, specifically the diagnosis and treatment of valvular heart disease and conditions leading to heart failure. Lastly, I believe that cardiovascular health and wellbeing is intrinsically linked to a healthy lifestyle. I will provide targeted exercise, dietary and lifestyle coaching to maximize your wellbeing.
