Rosangely Cruz-Rojas named to AHA award review committee
Rosangely Cruz-Rojas, DrPH, Vice President and Chief Diversity & Equity Officer for Main Line Health, has been selected to chair the American Hospital Association's Equity of Care Award External Review Committee. As part of the three-year term on the committee, Dr. Cruz-Rojas will provide leadership in the review and selection of Equity of Care Award winners as well as present the award at the annual AHA Leadership Summit.
Riddle Hospital receives accreditation for percutaneous coronary intervention program
Riddle Hospital has received accreditation for its percutaneous coronary intervention program from Corazon Inc., a national leader in services for the cardiovascular specialty. Through a rigorous process, the accreditation shows that the program at Riddle Hospital has once again met or exceeded Corazon's Accreditation Standards, national societal guidelines, and the requirements established by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Lankenau Medical Center receives reaccreditation for rectal cancer program
Lankenau Medical Center has received reaccreditation under the American College of Surgeons National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC). The NAPRC was developed based on international models that lead to better outcomes for patients, including a reduction in recurrence rates, better quality of life, improved function and increased survival. NAPRC-accredited programs must demonstrate compliance with NAPRC standards, which are focused on facilitating a multidisciplinary, holistic approach to treating patients with rectal cancer.

Bryn Mawr Hospital was named a top recommended hospital in Pennsylvania by Becker's Hospital Review. Becker's compiles a list of the hospitals that patients are most likely to recommend in every state using Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Paoli Hospital receives accreditation in cardiac rehab and vascular testing
Paoli Hospital's cardiac rehab team recently received full accreditation by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The AACVPR program certification is recognition of Paoli's commitment to improving the quality of life of patients by enhancing their standards of care. Paoli also received reaccreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) of extracranial cerebrovascular testing and peripheral venous testing. The IAC commended the team for demonstrating excellence in documenting quality patient care in the field of vascular testing.
