Matthew A. Goldstein, MD
- Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Heart and Vascular Care
My approach to patient care is to: Educate patients and their support networks about their medical condition so that they understand exactly what is going on in their bodies and how it could be expected to affect them in their daily lives. Educate patients about their potential treatment options (from medical therapies, to device implantations, to ablation procedures) and to guide them through choosing the option that best fits their treatment goals. Help patients monitor for response to therapy over time and address any concerns or side effects that arise and adjust our treatment plan as becomes necessary. Perform device and catheter-based ablation procedures with the utmost care and concern for patients, minimizing complications, while maximizing therapeutic benefit.
