I am a cardiovascular medicine physician at Lankenau Heart Institute. I joined Main Line Health in 2022, after 8 years as a practicing cardiologist in New York City and then outside Philadelphia. As a noninvasive cardiologist, I diagnose and treat diseases and conditions that can affect the heart and blood vessels (arteries and veins). Much of my practice is dedicated to caring for adults with or at risk for the most common forms of heart disease, which include: Coronary artery disease Elevated blood lipid and cholesterol levels High blood pressure Heart valve disease Heart failureAn important part of my practice is the use and interpretation of imaging tests to evaluate, diagnose, and manage heart disease. I have expertise in advanced forms of echocardiography as well as nuclear imaging of the heart. In terms of patient care, I have a special interest in preventing and treating heart disease in women. I completed medical school and internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai in New York. Along the way, I developed a fascination for the workings of the heart. This led me to go on to train in cardiology so I could devote my medical career to preventing and treating heart disease.I continue to find the field of cardiology exciting and deeply rewarding. I genuinely enjoy keeping up with advances in the field and partnering with patients on behalf of their heart health.
